Hide & Sheep: An Easter Afternoon in the Welsh Countryside

This Easter, we packed up the car, tucked in a few of our favourite blankets, and headed west — off to visit family in the rolling hills of Wales. 

Our niece Flo came along for the ride—excited not only for the promise of chocolate, but also to meet the newest (and tiniest!) member of the family.

We’re over the moon to finally introduce baby Alfie—snug as can be on one of our beautiful sheepskin rugs. The littlest lamb in our flock, already loving life wrapped in woolly softness.

There’s something magical about this time of year — buds on the trees, the faint hum of bees, and the feeling that everything is waking up again. We always say our blankets are made for everyday moments, and this one felt especially special: Flo tucked up with a hot chocolate, giggling into the folds of a soft wool throw as the golden hour rolled in.

After a joyful Easter egg hunt around the garden — where Flo displayed expert chocolate-detecting skills — the day slowed into that lovely countryside rhythm. The sun dipped low over the fields, birds settled in the hedgerows, and we all began to gather, a little rosy-cheeked from the breeze. Flo wrapped herself up in one of our all-wool blankets (the very soft, very snuggly kind), and played a rather woolly version of hide and seek, which we’ve now officially renamed “Hide & Sheep” 🐑
